Revision Classes, Generous Lecturers.

Few days ago we made a beloved lecturer angry. Very sad, after he has given us so much and asked for nothing in return, we caused him a lot of trouble. I agree, when he mentioned that we have trangressed his sincerity.

This has gotten me to realise something.

I think we, as a batch, have been quite unappreciative of a few lecturers who have given their time to give us these revision classes. Remember, they're not paid a single cent, they've used a lot of their time (in the above case, 2 hours each time le), and some have risked their position to access stuff. And a lot of big lecturers are not happy with these lecturers giving us the extra classes.

A word of thank you would be the bare minimum for them, but hell, sometimes its only 2 or 3 ppl in the front row who thank these lecturers when they go off. I feel very bad, having to arrange classes with these doctors cuz some of them get nothing in return, and yet are still eager to give us extra classes. I end up thanking them profusely to represent the whole batch (and sometimes make sure i say my thank u as loud as possible in hopes everyone gets the cue after a class). And some ppl think im sucking up to the lecturers, thats the worst part. Not easy being a batch rep huh, tryin to please everyone...

Its high time we showed our gratitude. A personal card, gift or maybe even a free lunch (a few have requested for that, and heck, a few had missed their lunch just to teach us). A doctor in the hospital offered to give my friends and me "tuition" for rm60 an hour. Our lecturers got nil. Please, do show these generous lecturers ur gratitude, no matter how big a doctor they are, they're still humans too.
